View Full Version : Gear/Stabalizer
Can someone tell me what would be gained by buying the gear and stabalizer upgrade kits? What would that change in regards to my car's performance?

i just bought a couple upgrade parts to my car so i can tell u the differences in handling.
The gears:
There are blue, orange and teal.
The blue ones are low speed high torque gears. Great for technical courses
The orange ones are the stock ones on most Bits. Good gear all round.
The teal ones are the speed gears. It decreases the torque of the car, but once you get up to speed, it's really fast. Great for tracks with a lot of straights.
The stabilizer sets come with soft medium and hard
The soft ones decrease the steering response by a little so when you're going at high speeds, you won't spin out that easily.
The medium ones are the best. Moderate steering repsonse, and great handling
The hard ones spin you out the most. tap the steering and you'll spin out.
I use the teal gear and medium stabilizer along with soft tires. and this combo hugs the road really well.....

Hey man, arent the blue gears for top speed since there are more teeth? And the teal for acceleration? Well, tell me the number of teeth there are for both colors, and that will prolly explain it.

Nope.... on the axle, the more teeth the less speed but more accel... and vice versa... so the blues are less speed....
