I'm thinking about getting one but I wanted to ask a couple of questions first.

1. How many charges do you get off of one set of akaline batteries.

2. How long is the charge time and run time per charge.

3. How good is the detail of the bodies and the quality of them.

4. I have seen something somewhere about the controller being weird. I was wondering is the controller funky?

5. Is this a import toy or is it a model for US use.

6. Are there hopups for these cars.

Thanks!!!!!

1. I am really unsure, I would say atleast 15 or so, I never really counted.

2. It takes on average 30sec to 1 min to charge and run time is anywhere from 5 to 7 min.

3. I would like to refer you over to this thread Fender Gap (http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1630)

4. Some people say the remote feels a little cheap BUT it works fine, I have even used it to control my Mini-Z

5. Why does this matter? It works fine in all countries :D

6. The only real hop-up is an upgrade to a 4-cell pack, that you can by here at TinyRC. Other hop-up will be availble soon.

The domestic (Japan) models are available in 35 and 53 Mhz which is not approved by the FCC to be used in the US. That is the only difference when it comes to the export models.

Huh! I believe Epoch indoor racer comes with AM 27MHz eletronic which is compatible with mini-z Tx. :) Back to the very first post. I believe all epoch racer are powered by its rechargable battery pack, not alkine battery. Unless you were talking about Tx. But I will recommend to invest on NiMH battery instead for long term.:)
