you know, where you reverse then go left, and it spins stationary.... after the second day my tank doesn't do that.... it's not a big deal, the tank still runs fine, but do your tanks loose the ability to do the super function??

ps i really want to change motors(as seen on the suspension mod post) but i dont' know how they did that.... and soldering would probalby be really hard to0... the suspension mod also looks cool

Hi, read your post...
I remember reading about it on an english translated manual (I found a reference to it on this board.)

----------------
There is a "Super Turning" Function
Original Japan Manu have make a mistakes on this
It should be, in the Controller:
- Press Right or Left First
- Then Press "Backward"
- Then the Tank can rotate at Same Location
----------------------

Try that!

.... you misread me.. i knew how to do that.... i'm talking about how my tank does not do that anymore, motor seems weak, sorry for the misunderstanding

Yep, I still have the super function spin thing working. I had to check it out after your post cuz I hadn't tried using it at all. What is really funny is I been driving the tank like a Bit forgetting it had proportional abilities. That really makes the tank easier to handle. DUH!:o

Hi Pitstain,
I didn't mean any offense.
I just noticed that your said order of commands to perform the "super" function were reversed, compared to what I had read in that manual. I know, picky. But I thought that it might help you out and solve the mystery as to why the super function doesn't work now. Just to be really clear as to what I meant: I read your post saying "Reverse, and then left" but the manual I read said "left and then reverse." Anyway, that is my picky advice quota for today!

2 Questions now: Are you saying that after only two days, your tank motor seems weak? Man, what a pain (and poorly designed tank? You don't seem to be alone. I've read a few posts about that.)

Just trying to help! Have fun.

actually, the tank is still performing very nicely, when doing the super function, one of the motor is weak therefore can not do the super function, but the other one is ok and can do it, but slow, other wise normal turning for both motors is good, for now, buying a combat tank is risky, you'll either get a pos or a decent tank...kind of liek hyundai cars

BTW, my tank does the sharp turn thing holding right or left first, then forward or reverse. Also, I thought I read you needed to shoot with both fire buttons and I just need to use one. Is that how your's is too?

it depends what material ur on...

i can do it on paper, but not on a glossy, grippy table

it's all in the controller settings though...i can do it when i center it, but not when it's calibrated to go straight at full speed

I've found that if you adjust the trim knob more than just a little bit, the in-place turning will not work very well, seemingly because the knob throttles one motor down all the time. If I turn the knob back to center, it does in-place turns just fine.

Yep, same here. I am real happy with how straight my tank is still running and it's still very quiet as well. The super spin thing does only work in reverse, not in forward as I quoted in an earlier post.
