Hi @ all,

i have a new toy. Its a excevator scale 1:87 based on a kibri kit. The chain-drive is a kit (www.mzr-online.com) and the electric and motor is www.1zu87modellbau.de.

I can change between different tools.

It include motors to drive (each chain one motor), turn, lift, escelate the front arm, lift the front arm. Open the bucket and lights are also implemented.

Its a great fun to play in the mud ;-)

That is an excellent model, do you have a built thread on this anywhere? I hadn't logged in here in a while, I am glad I did now.

Forgot to mention the weathering on the excavator, it is impeccable. I can only dream of achieving such as effect, how did you do it? Thanks.

There is no building threat yet. But I publish a small "how to" in the german magacine "miba" (http://miba.de/verlag/15087439.htm?4)

to weathering the modell you can use chalk or a box of watercolours. So if you take turpentine insteat of water, the effects will fit on the resin.
Just take a look inside the www to learn about the appearance of the original

I attache a picture to take a look inside the excavator and another one that shows the winches
