My very first paint job, and did I learn alot, first off no dust! I need to make a painting box that is dust free.

I used two coats of stock tamiya orange with 4 coats of tamiya clear using an Iawata airbrush.

I wonder what kind of glue I should use since testors seems ineffective compared to whatever kyosho uses in the factory.

nice and clean! we use a combination of acrylic and super glue to attach or strengthen parts of the ASC bodies.

incredible detail. is the finish durable? i too wish you could buy the kyosho glue. it's always been a struggle to find something that works as well and or does not fog or melt the plastic.

Very nice job, it reminds me the camel livery you can see on akibahara shop.
About glue, have you tried epoxy? It's always been the best for miniatures, it's very clean, stronger than any other glue, no fog, no melt the only downside is the time it takes to dry.

The paint is pretty tough, you need to give it about a week and a half to dry though.

Glue wise Im having more success with ca glue now, I guess I just thought it would not work as well as plastic cements that actually melt the plastic to a weld like traditional model glue.

Thnaks for the kind words, I've got big plans for my next paint job, going to be a few weeks before its done though.
