First annual Hobby Town USA Virginia/North Carolina dNano Challenge
Feb 13/14 - Mooresville & Greensboro, NC & VA Beach & Richmond, VA
$10 entry fee - unlimited laps

Prizes given for:
-Most laps run
-Fastest 100 lap average
-Fastest single lap
-Local 500 lap endurance winner

Thats right, we're hosting a 500 lap enduro! Bring extra batteries and a charger! (And a pit crew ;) ) The race will be held on Sunday the 14th, starting time TBD.

Mooresville racers, come support your local track and enter for your chance to win some exciting prizes.

Well I need to buy a couple more batteries and come run laps almost every night I guess.

Cool Mark, I will try to make it, sounds like fun. I too will need a couple more batteries! Though 500 laps at 5 seconds a lap is about 41 minutes - 1 battery change if your easy on the amps...

ok, rearranged the schedule a bit. hfay mini-z racing is moved to Feb. 20th, i will skip the mini-z endurance to race dnano challenge on the 13th in frederick, md.
can you tell me if this will still be sat + sun or just sat or just sun? if both days, what will i miss if i don't come sunday?

Sunday might be a stretch for me too... my wife isn't a fan of my RC racing, much less on Valentine's Day. I may be Saturday only.

Sunday is the 500 lap main event scheduled for 2:30pm. You'll still be eligible for all the other prizes, but based on your laps from Saturday only.

Twelve competitors clicked off pratice laps yesterday in the DNANO Challenge. So far, it looks like the travelling trophy is headed to North Carolina.

The 500 lap endurance race results are final

WInner; Joe Ellis Mooresville NC 39 minutes

Second: mdayton40 VA Beach VA 43 minutes

Third: jkblak Greensboro NC 45 minutes

Fourth: Tailgator Lake Ridge VA 55 minutes
