Register Used-Second Hand Car?

Can this be done at a Hobbytown or will they register only a car purchased at the store?

this is a very good question.

for example,
1. i bought mine via phone from va, can i take these to a md store, register and race them?
2. there are some whom bought them from japan, can they be registered online for racing?

I mail ordered mine from the Hobbytown in IL and the guys at the Hobbytown closest to me in Mooresville, NC registered it for me. I don't see why that would be a problem - I think it is kind of the idea too to travel around to different tracks that are close to you and run there...It wouldn't make any sense for a store not to register your car just because you didn't buy it there.

I don't know what will happen though - say if I take my car that was registered in Mooreville, NC and run it at the track in VA, or SC??? I hope that once it is registered it is a done deal and that the other tracks will already recognize it as mine once it crosses the timing loop??? Maybe somebody who has run at different locations will post up and let us all know what the deal is...

I do know that once you choose your "Nickname" or used id for your www.racednano.com garage page - you can not change it...So make sure the store you register it at has it typed exactly how you want it...They may be able to get into their software later and change or update it, but you can NOT...
