Yesterday I was able to pickup a set of these. They're about USD10 and come in a pack of 4 with 4 different stiffnesses. Just from bending them a little, I could easily tell at least 2 of the Atomic plates are softer than the Kyosho plates. I didn't have anytime to get some track time in with them, but I'm the only regular at my track that isn't using them, plus, it's taken me 4 weeks to get them. They seem to be a pretty decent improvement over the Kyosho plates, on carpet at least. I'm also waiting for a set of Atomic R/C tires, and in a week or so after exams, I'll try to get a little writeup in before the move.

IMO, the stock setup has plenty of rear grip and understeer. I would prefer something stiffer to reduce the rear grip.

The atomic plates are definitely harder than stock, but not overly so. They should do the job fine.

I dunno. Side to side flex of lightest #1 is comparable. I have been running one lately in one of my cars. What you don't get is the bouncy oscillation like the stock plastic.
