I'd love to see a Pontiac or Saturn ... those will soon be very rare collectables. Sorry, couldn't help the jab at GM :)

I would like to see some truck bodies. Maybe something similar to the Nascar Truck Series. I know Kyosho won't do the Nascar licensing again, but maybe a lowered street truck with racing strips.

maybe they will do an 'overland' type dnano?
i'm just hoping we will see more from the existing mini-z lineup like the jgtc, le mans racing cars.

what are the chances that we will get more bodies already in the mini-z lineup? most of the dnanos out have already been released as a mini-z. personally i am hoping for any of the le mans, gtc, or jgtc class bodies. i would but any of the nissan jgtc bodies in a hearbeat.
Yeah!!! More Race Car Bodies!!! Personally I would like an Audi DTM!!! Or even better yet an Australian V8 SuperCar Ford Falcon would ROCK!!!

I want to buy a green or orange Murcielago body in the US. When will I be able to buy one at a reasonable price?

has anyone gotten release dates from jpn websites for some of the new bodies like the db9, lp500? us release will be approx. 1 month afterward if it follows the normal routine.

Well, I am still waiting for the US release of the green Murcielago. I'm soooo tempted to pull the trigger on the one on ebaY for $58..... Damn, that's so expensive.

Both the DB9 and LP500 are a month and a half away from being available in Hong Kong, so probably another 2 and a half to 3 months to wait.

A picture of someone's FXX in japan. Found it here: http://ameblo.jp/dnano/page-1.html#main. It's in japanese, but google translate gives a general idea. Pretty interesting.

nice... did u get the fitting parts set as well? with Mini-Z, Kyosho can design any body for a chassis type and throw it on but with dNaNo its a bit more complex since none of them are the same (relative to fitting parts). each model is as much like the full size version as possible so releasing a body means releasing a chassis for it to fit on.

It will be a display model for a while. I love it.

got the gallardo in a couple days ago... also got the white enzo & white carrera. i've got fitting parts for just about everything except the gallardo & carrera. i'm doing my best to make sure we have the largest selection available... u can't imagine how tough that is.

what is your opinion of the gallardo? i am very tempted to get that vs. the db9.

Will the DB9 be a mid or rear motor? Does anyone have enough experience with these to be able to determine if the differences are as noticeable as with their big brothers?

It's more the wheelbase because of the motor mount position that affects performance.
The MM chassis tend to be more stable because of their longer wheelbase, and the RM chassis tend to be more agile because of the shorter wheelbase. You can tell the difference in the chassis, but I'm not convinced one is really all that much faster, you just need to find one that suits your natural driving style.

i think the gallardo should handle much like the mclaren. there is a major handling difference from one model variation extreme to another and yes, i agree that choosing which one is best for you will be based on your driving style. if you can, try them before you buy them. the mini-z has different chassis types just like the dnano but the step towards making the car more like the real car with various wheelbases & track widths sets the dnano light years ahead of any other r/c model (btw, i project the dbr9 will be an MM chassis, its Mini-Z counterpart is made for MM)

My favorite Dnano right now is the 917K bodied car which to my dismay is an RM chassis. I'm going to have to live with it cause I really like the body. The 962's and 787B's would be my next choices.
My entire Z fleet is MM. I never could get a feel for the RM cars. My skill level is higher now so maybe an RM Dnano will be manageable.

rm chassis is ideal for racing, if you're just into the beauty, MM is where its at IMO (i'll race with the 911, cruise with the 787). the 917k is probably THE best dnano for racing so hop it up & give it a chance before you dismiss it ;)

I have every intent on using the living daylites out of it. If you can't race it then what's the point. I can see having certain bodies as shelf queens just for the beauty of it but usually there is one with the mirrors beat off of it in the race box as well. Hopefully Kyosho will get aroind to putting out white bodies in this scale so I can do my own. As it is now I would have to use a $50 plus ASC to create my favorite Gulf 917K/L movie car.

I've said this before, it's always good to have two bodies of each model. One to race, and one to keep minty fresh.

at thier price, no thanks. i go into the purchase knowing full well it's going to get abused and not about to waste valuable expenses duplicating/collecting dnano autoscales. i'd rather spend the money on a gyro for example than a 2nd body to look at.

I hear yea on the price thing arch. I guess it made more sense with the Mini-Z AutoScales as they were more reasonable. I don't know why the Dnano's are more expensive body wise since their smaller. The chassis, sure I can see the price for that, but bodies?
I guess I've been lucky with mine as I haven't had any damages to them yet. Then again, I haven't been in any serious races with them either!

Arch, steady up on the gyro. It's a great idea on RCP with a wider longer track but on the HT fuzz where there are a lot of quick left right transitions the gyro seems to deaden the car by trying to stabilize it.

The flyer I picked up in Mooresville the other week actually shows a Gulf car to the right of the Martini car in the shadows.Granted it's not the 20' but close enough.I wonder if it is real or a prop?If it is real how soon will it be available to us?

added the silver 911 to the lineup (http://tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php?p=206436#post206436)
the gulf has been seen in many pictures from jpn hobby shows. you can find them here as well. i have not heard anything about a release date.

I've seen the silver 911 available for purchase right now at Hobby Link Japan. Reasonably priced I might add. No, this is not the same Hobby Japan I keep mentioning from ebay and they are not related. H.L.J.
Kind of wish I saw the silver one before purchasing the white one, it's nice in silver! But, I love white cars so I'll be happy.
If it is anything like the silver on the Martini Porsche 917 then that is a keeper. I have to say in person that silver is brilliant, bright, and very easy to see. Good for us older guys with failing eyesight :)

you mean the black FC3S? Me too, any of the I.D. cars would be sweet. How about some Skynet models? I doubt those would be redone in Dnano form. :(
As said before, it all goes down to sells, but I think these Dnano's are selling like hot-cakes all over! My fourth is on it's way!

Wonder what's next! :D
OMG that thing is sweet! The Lexus SC430 would be awesome and is "the" body to run in Mini-Z. Would be nice to have a complimentary car from the same class.
I notice this one is the new "type 2" chassis as well. Anybody got a part number just for the conversion? If you look carefully Kyosho is calling it type 2 in their documentation already. The doc I read actually said something like type 1 was original and for "more steering". Sorry for thread drift though it is mildly relevant.
