hi all. i have the losi desert truck and i bought the brushless combo (motor and ESC) from losi. is there an alternative to the spektrum receiver (which requires a spektrum tx) that i can use and keep the stock tx?
thanks in advance for any help

I do not understand, why would Losi make a brushless conversion (ESC and motor) and not make it compatible with the stock servo and receiver?
Has anyone ever modified the stock stuff to work with the brushless system? I mean we are talking around 50 bucks if you were to still be able to use the stock electronics vs. 100bucks or so......a micro AM receiver and a micro servo. That sucks!!
Anyone have any suggestions?

As if in answer to my prayers look what "magically" appeared on Team Losi's website:

I like this configuration. It is like a diesel locomotive with the sadded feaure of the batteries. The ici engine runs at optimun=m rpm for maximun efficiencey.. Is the engine a deisel or gas job?
Whwn will a car like this be on the market?
