Are the Spec1 and Spec2 motors the same???

I was just wondering off hand if they were the same.. Just wondering, because my buddy claims theyre different and i claim they are the same..

I always assumed they were the same. I don't think there really is a way to know for sure besides asking Epoch.:cool:

hey gertman!! why do they say that the spec1 is slower than the spec2 stockwise? Is it because of the motor or the electronics factor and are both diffs the same..I notice my spec1 use to slip alot under bottom end..

I always assumed it was the electronics and newer batts in the Spec 2 ( I had my Spec 1 almost a full year before I got a Spec 2)

Really guys? I thought they should have the same motor but different electronics as others mentioned previously. I just got my spec II WRX but I have been thinking to get additional bodies from spec I. Are they compatible? Where can I get them for a better price? Thanks in advance. :)

they do fit, but then youll have the ugly fender gaps making your car look like a 4x4 or a rally car...oh yeah! you have to also change the rear wheelbase setting..

they have a second generaition RX-7 that theyre putting out, but i personally like the oldschool skyline kpgc10 since its characteristics stand out like an old school hot rod.. Both of these cars are customized painted on the rims, flares, suspension lowered just right and one is a 5 cell Mini-Z Beater and the other is my show car 4 cell..
