I took some destroyed tires from my Micro-T (it's easy to destroy them on a tight thread carpet) and removed all teh rubber. I then put Foam Tape from Home Depot on the tires and now I have foam tires. so, stock tires+fun+ Home Depot=Foam tires for hardwood floors

hmmm I thought I got it from home depot... It's single adhesive sided foam. I went to home-depot.com and couldn't find it at all... I tried a couple crafts sites as well... I'll keep looking, and if I find it, I'll link it. sry... I bought the stuff a LONG time ago.

Only problem is that the Cheapbatterypacks.com doesn’t have Micro-T battery connectors, where as the ones from his post do. On the other hand why not get them directly from OnlyBatteryPacks.com instead of resold by Killer hobbies probably with a markup.

i dont consider that a rip off, especially when it might cost 3 bucks for a connector

sry, I didn't mean to offend. I thought it was a ripoff becuase I auto convert EVERYTHING to deans/micro deans clips right off the bat, and I'm pretty sure CBP does micro deans. as for the foam, I found some in walmart. it's not a tape, it's a sheet. thin, but cheap. $0.89 per sheet. one side is adhesive. I don't know where I got that other stuff. I can't find it anywhere, and I'm all out of it...

I thought of something to make some big foamies for the micro T as well. I'm gonna do it myself as soon as I wear out another set of tires.

http://www.rchobbiesandmore.com/product.php?productid=16940&cat=0&page=4

Cut these into the right width.

glue/double sided tape the tire, and voila, you got foamies.

Do a google search for "micron fp 250" you should be able to find some sources. Yes, you'd need a spektrum tx for the spektrum micro rx.

I'd suggest going with the Full River 250mah instead as there's been several confirmation that they will fit without any modifications in the stock chassis.

Edit/Delete Message You need to keep something in mind (if you don't already know)...The stock electronics handles 3 things:
1. The Servo is a 5 wire setup and the electronics fully controls it
2. The Rx is integrated in the electronics
3. The ESC is integrated in the electronics.
What that all means is that once you take that all-in-one electronics box out of the micro-t, then you've got to swap in ALL the components that it was functioning as before. In other words, if you're thinking about using a Mamba ESC instead...Then you'll also need to be thinking about what other Rx and Servo you'll be using as well.

yes I am familiar with rc electronics just not 1/36 scale cars and I know that once I swap out the stock all in one board in the micro I will need new servo and receiver the car is getting completely redone new esc new servo ceramic BB cf chassis im even buying a new spectrum TX just so I can use the spectrum micro and so on and so on I was just wondering which of those esc's was considered the best or has had a good review by rc action or xrc and which one off the rchover site is the fullriver lipo pack

Namuna

Good, then you're all set.

The popular opinion is that the Mamba ESC is great. It's a bit big though and folks are resoldering the wires to fit better.

Look at my original post again, there's a link to Indoorflyer for the Full River lipos...I don't know who the OEM is for the Micron packs.

“Look at my original post again, there's a link to Indoorflyer for the Full River lipos...I don't know who the OEM is for the Micron packs.”

Please further explain and im still not sure what you mean by fullriver and you said the mamba is the popular choice but which the mamba25 or the PHX-10 and just a little FYI today I found out that a little piece of velcrow on each side of the chassis can completely eliminate the need for small A$$ body clips
