I liked it before, now I like it even more!!!! How much did it cost you, Mondo? The office supply store here in Hilo has them for almost $60.00!!! WAY too much! I could get two on a certain site for that much.

Is that certain site TinyRC.com? $29.99/ea. :D

The Thunderer,

I went to the shopping mall with my wife.
We popped into the Gadget Shop.
I saw it there, for £25 (+-US£37.50)
How could I refuse that little critter? It was love at first Char-G!

Mondo,

Gotta get one, quite fancy a bike too.

Tempted to either order one here or head to the Oracle in my lunch hour. (I am in bracknell).

Did that gadget shop have loads in?

:)

Butler,

I got it from the Gadget Shop in Bristol.
I am positive that Reading must have some, as the Reading Gadget Shop at The Oracle is bigger than the one in Bristol.
There are two flavours, 27MHz and 40MHz.
I opted for the 40MHz option hoping that my wife may take an interest in it ('coz it's small and cute) and then I could bully it with my Mini-Z :D
No such luck, she's just not an RC girl :p

I actually use this more than my Mini-Z, as it's ideal for table tops.
The kitchen worktop is my track and I make obstacles to manouver around.
Honestly, it's a cool device.

The Bit Char-G was something I would never have ordered from the U.S.
I've read all the Threads here and at my favourite site (Mini-ZRacer) and always made a mental note to buy one if I ever stumbled across one.
Saturday was the day, I saw and crumbled.

I'll discuss the Bit Char-G here, as there is a huge following.
But it's still worth mentioning on Mini-ZRacer.com :D

Cheers Mondo, aka Captain Car collection :p

Definitly gonna get one. My house is too small for my Z (until I finish the loft). So I fancy a Bit Char-G and now you have given the seal of approval I will get one.

So what mods will you be getting?:)

Butler,

NO mod's for the Bit-Char-G. Believe it or not ;)

I am too focused on my Micro RS4 right now.
I've also debbled in some Square wheels and Kyosho slicks for my Mini-Z F1's.

The Bit Char-G is just plain sweet and simple and it's exactly how I want it to stay.
Oh, my wife played with the Bit Char-G earlier this evening :D :D
I asked her if she'd like one, she declined the offer :p
Unofrtunately she was bored with it before I could get my Mini-Z prepared to 'bully' the Bit Char-G.

Butler, once that track of yours is completed, I am coming over to whip your ass with my big bad CLK.

TinyRC,

I reckon the Char-G's are ideal for the ladies.
Theyre pretty small and can fit in thier handbags :D
Nope, my wiofe prefers her cameras.
Now, perhaps I should look at mounting a camera in my Mini-Z to catch her attention. :p

Mondo,

My wife did the usual, "What! Another little car, thats a stupid thing blah blah blah."

Then she spent the next 10mins playing with it and chasing the cat.

She probably won't use it again though.

If a could get a Toyota Corolla body for it she might buy one. Unfortuneatly its an english model AE111 not like the one you can get.

I may get another shell and cover it in grey fur and a pink tail for the cat;)

that would be awesome, you could also try a fake mouse that cats play with and just put it over the body. i don't know i haven't tried it yet

Whats the difference between a Bit and a mini Z racer

tinyrc

About 5 inches! :D The Mini-Z is 1/28 scale, fully proportional, with tons of hop-ups. The BC-G is 1/64 scale, not proportional, and has relatively few hop-ups in comparison.

Bits are MUCH smaller (only 2" in size). They use a non-proportional steering, button type Tx, run for about 8-15 minutes (at most - depending on the motor), have different body styles and a few hop-ups, and are fun to an extent.

Mini-Z's are MUCH faster, have TONS of hop-ups to choose from, have fully proportional steering with a wheel type Tx., run anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour (depending on your batteries and motor), can come with Autoscale bodies to add realism.

They both can be fun, but IMHO, bits are "toys". I've got two... and don't use them because of my Micros, Mini-Z's, and others.

Sorry I took so long to reply.

Those decals are excess from my Micro RS4 Skyline.
They fit the Bit Char-G perfectly.
The "Blue Thunder" decal is from a sheet of free decals that my [not so] LHS hands out if you spend money there!
