SE bodies?

has anyone seen those special edition bodys from Tomy? they say "not for sale" i.e. promotional. they are gold and silver in color. i was just wondering if anyone had seen these or not.

The Ikebukuro "Silver" one is legit. Thats the one that they gave to the winners of the Bit Hobby contest champions around japan.

There are completely Gold painted Bit bodies on eBay that claim to be RARE UNRELEASED LIMITED EDITIONS. It is completely gold without any detail on the headlamps, taillights, etc.. My guess is this guy painted the bodies and is trying to sell em for a ridiculous amount. All the bodies ever released by Tomy had more than one color (except the clear bodies) and details on the lights etc.. Beware of that seller. The bodies dont even come with any type of hoopla like a special edition box, logo, sticker, etc that normally comes with special company promotions. Stay away from those.

Ahh. Those look LEGIT! Really cool too. I think those are the same ones that I saw on EBay, but the guy pocketed the stickers cuz he didnt advertise the sticker set that comes with it. So I guess they ARE legit. THe windows are clear on sigmas site, I dont remember if the eBay ones were though. 19 is alot to pay for a body though. ouch.
