I was sitting at my work bench the other night and was wondering if I could use the steering and electronics out of my new se on my mt. Granted there would need to be some modification, but I was already drawing out a brand new chasis to begin with, so I figure if I can use the se stuff I can just incorporate it into the design of my chasis. The chasis will be similar to that of a stadium truck. I have completed the A-arms and I am working on full suspension at this point. I will post pics soon. The chasis will be slightly longer than stock. And I made a new extended drive shaft at work with my lathe.

I've got my SE sitting here torn apart trying to come up with a good way to install this stuff in my MT.
I don't know if you saw the link in another thread at this site to a mod where an SE pcb was used, but not the steering. It looked like some type of micro servo was used for the steering. The link was to a german site,so I don't know all the details. I want to use the steering from the SE.
Looking forward to seeing pics of your project, sounds like a good one.

The reason I want to use the Se stuff is for the servo, cause from what I can its kinda propo. Not as propo as I would like but its better than stock MT.
