Alrighty guys I got some questions for you.
1. I'm getting the monster truck upgrade kit and I'm wondering what the best gear/motor combo is for speed, torque, or power.
2. What is a good mod for the ZZMT? And can you give me a write-up of how it's done?
3. How can I get ahold of some guy named "Crazy Dave" or something.
4. What are some fun things to do with the mt?
Thanks for yo time and Merry Christmas!!!!

So far, I have two zzmt's. One for modding and one I keep stock so as to have one to play with while my modder is down. Your first question will answer itself on the back of the package.
As for mods, check out the 6 tooth pinion mod on here, it works out nice. If you have a soldering iron you can do a tri-cell mod,
I did one and I think I may have kinda fried my receiver making contact with the antenna and a live wire, I'm not sure. If you do that though, you'll also need to either rig your controller w/ a nine volt battery, or build a stand alone charger, as the original setup won't charge the modded battery pac. I've attempted all of these w/ some amount of success. I think I may have to start over with a new mt to figure out where the problem is, but from what I've seen, the ends justify the means.
I have no clue who crazy dave is.
I took a pair of scissors, a roll of packing tape, and built a challenge coarse, complete with card board ramps, a bridge for climbin', and bubble wrap mud bog with unused body shells sunk in for effect. Fun Fun Fun... Use thick corrugated card board to build a base, then use thin stuff like a clothing box to make smooth transitions from floor to ramp. experiment. Mine's fun for racing, whether just through the bog over the wrecks, or all the way around in a figure eight. I set it up so that a different ways around favor either a low torquey gear for climbing or a fast gear for hitting jumps.
