Just got it back from Crazy Dave, and it has TOO MUCH TORQUE!!! I'm swapping to Orange gears as soon as I'm done typing this!

Well, if you're spending a lot of time on your back from it, it may not be, and it puts this insane grin on my face.:D

I know. I haven't gotten around to it. I can ride a wheelie for a good 30 ft, just tapping the gas!

I made one with premiere 1.5, but it won't shrink! It's over a 1/2 gig at this point! No wheelie bar in the vid. I had orange motor and gears in the vid, and it still occansionally makes crunching noises (gears grinding from torque). On worn down carpet, I can stay on the wheelie bar for 10-15 feet. Red gears and orange motor allow for wheelies from a dead stop, and a very tiny wheelie comes from orange gears. I'm gonna try shrinking again. My 1st edited vid, and it's ok.

Dunno what he wants to charge. Mine was the 1st that he did, so he might've changed the price because of the difficulty involved.

Do you have the DivX (http://www.divx.com) codec? If not, get it. Also, try giving VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/) a shot. Compress the video to about 800-1200 kbps. See if that helps.

I really do not want to pay for Divx, so I just have the player. I'll give Virtual Dub a try though. The problem I'm having though is that it refuses to resize the vid to 320X240.

Give Bink a try  Anyone who knows me, knows how much I plug Bink format (Hi Dan LOL!).
Bink format provides for the best compression maintaining the best quality over any other comparable utility IMHO... all without the need of installing additional video CODECs to play them back -:) Also, you can easily create a standalone self-playing bink format movie, and the embeded runtime EXE is quite small.
Anyhow, check out Bink at http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm (download the "The RAD Video Tools"), totally free for non-commercial use -:)
P.S. Bink format is used quite extensively for in-game videos and cutscenes for about 90% of all PC games in existance. Bink is the succesor of the older "Smacker" format, which in it's day was used in the same manner... almost all DOS PC games used that format for their in-game movies -:)
P.P.S. Any of the movies linked on my ZipZaps Stuff and GeneRally Stuff web pages were all Binked/created/compressed using the Rad Video Tools -> http://www.cmoo.com/~snor/weeds/zapstuff.htm , http://home.earthlink.net/~richnagel/grstuff.htm .
How do you stack fets on a ZZMT? and what does it look like? pics?
This is my first post in this forum, I got my ZZMT at Christmas, got the upgrade kit, and i've already built jumps with cereal boxes and made a video, soon as i cut it down to a smaller size, i'll post it.

Here (http://www.codesuidae.net/FetModMT/FetModMT.html) is another method of doing the FET mod on the MT. This uses both n and p channel FETs (the MT uses 5v gate signals, so the usage of n-fets in place of the p's isn't necessary (so no upside down mounting of fets)).
I've bridged several resistors as well. This is optional. It looks complicated, but avoids running wires all over the board.
Feel free to double or triple stack the fets.

Codesuidae, which has more torque and top speed, Mosfet ZZSE or Mosfet ZZMT? Mosfet+DutyMOD ZZSE or Mosfet ZZMT?

The MT definately has more power, but only because it has a larger motor and battery. If the SE board were equipped with an MT motor and battery and the DC mod, it would have the same performance (but it would also have proportional controls).

Bdnunch, I'm hitting 10 kmh with mine, and might be swapping to a li-po soon.

Lol, what you got it geared at? You should keep it high if its got that much power.

It's geared as high as you can go and still does it. BTW, pics:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v169/viperdout/li-po1.jpg
It still fits under the stock cover for sleeperness:

Also, here's my little mod so I didn't need to put plugs on the MT:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v169/viperdout/controllermod.jpg
I made a notch and removed the wristband attachment so the plug would sit there:

look at the MT pics. That's a 3.6 volt li-po shoved in there, so therefore you need a different charger.

Yeah, that would be my suggestion, but how should you attach it to the chassis? Is that you steve?

yeah bryce its me. i didnt have enough time to make a wheelie bar befor i left but i made a bumper out of a thick light wieght paperclip. and i shaped the the bumpe like a traxxas rustler rpm bumper. its really strong, i just superglued it to the angl on the front. i recomend it because its hardly any waught to it and its very strong.

hey zipzapin i think you should convert your truck back to doul cell because ever since you put the therd cell in you've been having a lot of problems with the gearing. i think it might be good to because i personaly like them with just 2 cells.

Nah, I fixed it. Its crazy now. I put an e-clip before the gear in the center shaft. No cracking from my gearbox anymore.
