anyone try this?

hey i was lookin through this website(below) that has alot of good tips and i decided to try the joystick controller mod. it looks awesome but the range is affected. now when i drive it it studers. did anyone else have a problem with interference? or is it something else? the pic shows a metal joystick and that is what i used. thanks:p

mayb it isnt the range that gets hurt, but the actual button. mayb the joystick is abit too lose, and it allows wiggle.
