I bought a set of batteries from this guy on e bay and when I get a chance, I will be putting this thing together.

Set-up:

1. 6 Cell Sanyo Brick Cells - 900 mah (run time - three times longer than the ABC pack) (together with # 5 for $20.00 on e Bay)

2. ESC: Novak Spy

3. Hitec FM Receiver (Micro)

4. Hitec 20-BB Sub Micro Servo.

5. 180 Hi-RPM / Hi-Torque (came with the 6 cells)

**NML motors for DTM SP coming soon.***

That is one HOT car!!

I ll post pics of my DTM SP very soon also.

I have a Novak Spy ESC
Bearing set
Futaba 2PL receiver (small enough it fits in the micro)
Toyota Supra Body unpainted yet.
GMAXX 6 cell 600 Mah Nimh battery pack
I have the stock engine....but I am looking to put a 180 high output or 280 sized engine on it. Any suggestions??

When I am done with the DTM..I ll even post a video somewhere so everyone can see it.

$20.00 is actually reasonable for a set of nimh and a modified motor. Think about it, $11.99 alone for a motor, if you get an HPI which is nowhere near in speed. Then the batteries - I checked a hobby shop to see how much these were and each were going for $4.50 a pop.

Where I live, the bearings are $3.99 each. and Horizon has it for $28.99 for the bearings alone. I think it's a nice deal, but that's my opinion.

I'll make an announcement as soon as we close the deal.
