Anyone got this, or know where to get it? Is it any good?
That was a modified heatsink made from an old computer heat sink.

i was running an hpi micro mod but it was too fast for the car. i had it top mount over an alum shaft to fit it. for now i use a pn-speedy motor with a BB can, neo magnets and a shaft extension.
Mmmm, sounds good!
I reckon I'll try a stock armature in a MiniZRacer A-BB can with the magnets from that, to see how it runs.
Putting the micro mod into the mini=x must be like a Micro 540 conversion. you must have lost bits of the drivetrain all over the place! :D

I'm sorry, that's not correct at all. The car pictured is mine. It was a custom sink we designed from the ground up and had prototypes machined. It never made it to the mass market, but, if enough people are interested we could do a small run.

Check out this old thread.

Tho it would be tough to get that into the stock motor mount, so probably wouldn't do much good.

is your current setup good to kill mini z(s)? can i use an high rpm motor but compensate with neo mags?(eg.plasma dash)

the plasma dash has no torque to move the car. and while it is trying to move the car, it is eating your electronics alive lol. my hpi setup could keep me at pace with a mildly tuned rs4 micro. my current neomag pn setups puts me faster than most miniz. and since i have ALOT of torque and 4wd i can power thru and out of corners way faster than a miniz ever will.
after i saw i could do that, i realized i was done
