hi people

i'm proud to present: the pentaWARRIOR

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/pw2.jpg

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/pw3.jpg

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/pw4.jpg

the cage is a bit racer body modified with a dremel, spraypainted and glued to the honda accord body.

before i applied the cage it looked like this (nice 'n cute)

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/v3_1.jpg

and even earlier it looked like that (badly painted)

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/1_front.jpg

initially it looked that way (almost no mods but the antenna through the hood)

http://lastfuture.de/gnod/hood_drilled.jpg

the current specs:
- 2.6 motor
- orange gears
- medium tyres front and back
- normal stabisus
- dual battery (2 min load, 8 min runtime)
- antenna pulled out and led through hood
- cripple capacitor in remote removed

to come:
- dual ni-mh battery for max speed and runtime

what do you think? ^_^

Wow! Doesn't the weight of the cage slow you down?

well it's plastic and it weighs very little, i didn't test any performance changes but if there were any i didn't notice :)

Holy dang! That is nice, really nice... :p Hey what did you mean by the cripple capacitor?

look there if you wanna modify your remote to improve the range :) it's a step by step "photo story" with comments in the images

How much does the range increase? Thanks fo da link! :D

Yeah, how much is range increased? ALSO, is there a Mod to do this same type of thing for the Mult-Controller?

To be honest, I've put aside these Bit Char-G's because they are VERY tempermental. The 3.0 motors don't work, the range is really poor, etc. I LOVE the cars themselves, but honestly, they're more of a PAIN than fun. So, I stopped messing with them. However, if it is this simple to increase range and there is a simple mod. one can do to increase range of the multi-controller, then I'd happily get back into them.

BTW, an Office supply store has these for sale... as office desk toys. BUT they're about $15.00 more expensive than the shop here. EWWWWW.

Any helpful response would be appreciated.

this came up in another tread. when you read it you might find some other range tips. don't be discouraged by short range or slow speeds, bit char-gs are very fun and all they need is a little tinkering and a lot of love. here is the tread
