stalling 3.0 motor

hi there

i got a 1.0 a 2.6 and a 3.0 motor and all three motors run fine, only thing is, that the 3.0 motor stalls which means that it sometimes (especially when hitting an obstacle) won't drive until i drive in the opposite direction for a bit. this is very annoying if you hit a wall and need to bend down because you can't drive backwards or if you need to drive a bit backwards before you can start in a race.

i thought its speed was even slower than the 2.6 one (which works perfectly by the way) but i was wrong it's at least as fast.

i believe i have seen somebody else in this forum having the same problem who was unfortunately ignored due to capslock :D

I'm not sure because I'm still waiting for mine however I notice recently that my old 2.2 motor was starting to give trouble also everytime I lifted the heat sink the thing would run. I will have to wait and see when I get my new motor I order two 3.0 by the way who makes you 3.0. I also order a 3.1 for my Tomy and a 3.4 for lxx I can wait.:o b16

my 2.2 (genuine tomy) now runs very slow...only had it a couple of weeks too B( . Although just discovered 2.6 and I think its a lot better that 3.0, lot more torquey..especially with the blue gearset.

put a drop of solder on the metal connection on the back of the motor. that helped me
