I decided that since I didnt like the default body I bought when I got my Zip Zaps, the Red mustang, I would experiment with it... So i broke out the ol drimel tool and went to town. Now here is a pic of the convertable stang!

Dude, nice try. What did you use, a crowbar? LOL
what dremel bit did you use? I used a cone shaped sander
Not trying to offend your work, just speaking from experience. I used a dremel on a Microsizer body and it worked really well.

Not sticking up for ZZ's but i think his work isnt so bad. Really the picture quality leaves something to want, but i think you went way to harsh on this guy.
Also if you actually read his post he used a dremel.
Not all of us are as good as you.
As for myself...I dispise real scale convertables, and likewise to opening a hole in a ZZ or Bit Char-G to view the electronics, but that is my opinion.

Man o man, I knew I'd get flamed. I was just assuming that 99.9% of people here have a sense of humor and would get a little chuckle out of my post. But I guess you fall into that .1 percent.
And I'm not claiming to be a dremel expert. Just telling him what tip I used.
Sorry if I offended the original poster. I take it back. Geeze.

i would love to, but not exactally sure how to go about it
im not sure how other people have done it...but if u arent comfortable with cutting ...then DONT DO IT!!
well theres a slight lowering method i figured, and then theres a big lowering method that i dont suggest...cuz i did it..although it rocks...u gotta do a TON of dremel work...
the simple lowering mod that lowers your car like 2 milimeters or so...is...to take an exacto knife..and cut the holes where the tabs are slighty higher[this also makes the car easier to put together with the larger opening]..but there seems to be a problem when i did that to my mustang and rx7...the darn skrew on the rear got in the way...so i gotta figure something out to make it fit correctly
it worked fine on the Eclipse though...
