New to the forum and new to mini-rc...

Me and the guys at work just got hooked.
We initially baught 2 zips, then the fast & furious kit the next
day. I bought a Microsizer so we could compare etc.

The track we currently have is about the 6' x 3.5' or approx.
the size of a door. It's a cardboard track we quickly built to
try these out on. Not bad. But the Microsizer (stock) is way
too fast to control in that space. The stock 1.6 zip motor
was perfect the first day. We still use the 1.6 but use the
green gears for a little more speed.

The Microsizer's turn radius is WAY to tight as well for our taste.
I put the zip 1.6 in it and it still doesn't match the natural
steerling of the zip IMO. Below is a link to an .avi of a race
with the zips. the file is 5.6MB

I just ordered 3 Combat Digi-Q tanks lastnight and can't
wait to receive them. I'll put pics and movies up when they
arrive.

Also :D I ordered a Bit 35 mhz along with the tanks so we
can hopefully get 3 cars going. I plan to transplant its guts
into a ZipZap, so wish me luck there.

Enjoy the movie....

about the tight turning radius on bit char-g cars... that can be changed with the tire sets, and stablizer sets. If you put softer tires in back and harder (bit racer pack) tires in front, you can make the cars have great smooth, wide radius turns. with bit char-g softs in back and bit racer mediums in front, i was able to go full power around a mellow figure 8 with a crazy fast 3.0 motor. its all in the tuning!

cow, thanks for the tire tips. We just got the cars
so I've yet to try enough set-ups yet. I'll pass along
your suggestions.
