When i got my x mod the guy there told me to get the stage 1 upgrade kit because he said it would be better for powering the AWD kit but i was wondering if the stage 2would still work?

Stage 1 is best for AWD. It has alot of torque. But the stage 2 is fast but doesnt have as much torque as the stage 1.

the stage 2 has plenty of tourque. they dont have as much as the stage 1 but if your on flat ground they work great. with the red stage 2 with allwheel drive it gets to top speed in no time (thats on the street). if your racing on slick floor stage2 motors work great also with awd. i was racing my friend in his basement, lynoleum very dusty. he didnt have all wheel drive but we both had red stage 2 in about a 15-20 ft race i finished in the time it took him to go half way

I find that even with AWD, my stock motor has too much torque and causes wheel slip. either way, I think that there's no reason to get the Stage 1 motors unless you want to do alot of drifting.
