2 questions (sorry not a game)

hey do any of you guys have a problem with snaping down the clear cover for the curcuit board? mini just won't stay latched. also what is the frequency range for these cars? I have a 27mhz and it doesn't go very far. thanks:p

did u break off the tabs of the cover? it should stay down normally....

usually the range should be around 5 meters... u can always increase the range by putting a longer antenna on the car....

no i didn't break them, one latches and the other doesn't. where can you get longer antennas?

interesting..... do u have a pic of the problem? it sounds as though it is a manufacturer error....

I made the antenna myself.... u know the bit char g antenna is just a wire rite? u just need to find the same gauge wire and make cut a long peice out.... then u replace the stock antenna and solder on the new one....

no digital camera, but i think i solved the problem. i undid the knot in the antenna, which allowed the curcuit board to go down further, which allowed me to snap the cover. thanks for your help it was just a simple problem, which is why i'm still newbie.:p

cool... :)
but be careful.... once u undo the knot, don't pull on the antenna too hard.... it may come off....
