I've decided to re-paint my xmod since i ****ed it up, what grit sand paper should i use to sand off the paint i painted with?

I would use the highest grit I could find. 1000 +

to sand off the old paint i would use something like 100 ir 150. the to clean up the plastic i would use 400. also use 400 on the primer coats. then use 800 on the paint coats and 1500 on the clear.

are you sanding of the stock paint? if so you may need something more like a belt sander ;) . they arent painted stock. they are colored plastic. so you will have to reduce your car to a pile off shavings before you get through the paint. just wipe it with a little laquar(sp) thinner and then prime and paint.

they arnt painted stock? then i wonder why my yellow skyline is white on the inside......... did they paint the inside white then?
