Nice! Looking at the first pic, I didn't think it it was going to fit over the chassis with the LEDs positioned where they are, but from the inside pics I see that it does easily, what type of LEDs are they? What are you using as the power source? Looks great!

i just installed front and tail lights. why is it that my rear lights take so much power? when i turn on the front, then the back, the front goes dim! what do i do?

the reds suck up a lot of power.... and i mean a lot!! the mA rating seems low enough, but in fact, they require the most juice to get them lit up..... thats y use some resistors to restrict some battery power in the reds, and the fronts lights should go brighter... :)

you'll need to use OHM's law and calculate the resistance... if you're not sure how to, go to my webpage http://minizracer.cjb.net and click on the LED Lights section.... that page should teach u how to do resistance....

after u find the resistance value, then go out and buy some resistors rated MORE than the calculate number... this way, the resistor will retrict more voltage..... but don't pick a number too high or else it will restrict too much battery power to operate the LED...

i dont know what the rating of my leds are because it was a package of misc. leds from radioshack. could i somehow measure the stuff with a multimeter? lol just a thought.

What color LEDs are they? A specific color is usually a certain voltage. The current is usually 20mA on most LEDs...

i have green front, red rear.

for the green use 40 OMHs
and for the Red use 57.5 (you're correct:))

that's if you're useing a 3Volt power source:)

i put tiny light bulbs in my ae86 and i put them in the pop up headlights by melting a whole in the body to put the light through to the headlights it looks cool ill put up pics later
