i heard that getting the all-wheel drive kit decreases top speed. doez it really slow u down or iz dat just a rumer?

It does slow you down but not much if you leave the stock (white) differential in the rear. The payoff is greatly increased handling.

Like Hudson5150 said, your speed slows down alittle bit but not too much. But this gives alot of handling.

I've noticed that the speed has reduced minimally but the biggest drawback I've seen is that my turning radius has decreased a LOT! If I want to make a sharp turn I need to slow WAY down. I'm running soft tread tires, hard springs in the rear and soft springs in the front.
The BIG plus to the AWD kit is that you don't spin out (oversteer) nearly as bad.
