If I got an MR-01 instead of an MR-02 do you think it will be outdated anytime soon? are they gonna discontinue the MR-01 since the MR-02 is out? what are your recommendations?
There's still gonna be loads of support for the MR-01, looks like the MR-02 is suffering slightly with the reliability of some of the Chassis parts. The MR-01 may not handle quite as nice as the MR-02 out of the Box, but it's still heaps better than an X-Mod

They better not go outta' date! I got mine in June and I love it! Besides, the only MR-02s I've seen look like a truck ran them over. They are awfully twitchy looking. Either that or the drivers that had them sucked...

Right now the stock of parts in shops are kind of "patchy" but some pack of parts you will need to upgrade. The front end parts cannot be swapped over. And you need the servo saver to work.
Go to MZR (http://www.mini-zracer.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10169) .......
I think the electronics on the 02s are better than the 01s.
