Anyone else experience probs w/ a Skyline ? My first one never turned on again after its first 25 second run. Just wondering how big of a prob this is... and why Nissan's getting the weiner for licensing w/ radioshack.

ya it sucks but it seems that the skylines seem to have some problems. I had to return 3 to RS, first one had a bad steering servo, second one had a bad rear diff set up, and the third did the same not turning on thing and another bad steering servo. If i were you i would return it as soon as possible, so you dont get any grief about keeping it for to long.

Because some of the skylines dont have mechanical problems with them.

Well, i dunno - i returned the first one, and the second one's been running perfected to my knowledge. although when i accelerate to full speed, the lights flash in the front - almost like when it shifts. it doesnt really effect anything, but if something does happen to this one, i think ill get a dif. one.

the lights flickering seems to be something with all of them. i think what the problem is that they try to flash them to make them look dim but they did a bad job exicuting it and the kinda flicker.

It's more visually obvious due to using LEDs rather than small light bulbs.

they do it in alot of the newer cars with led tail lights and it dosnt seem to be a problem with them.

I don't understand why but mine is fine and i've been thrashing on it, I think the thing with lights is with such powerful motors it eats at the battery power and they cannot work right, it's just like the zipzap se, when the battery is low the headlights/taillights flicker

I have an early skyline with no problems. I did have a light kit flickering problem. It started with them dimming and eventually they would completely flicker on and off. A new light kit solved my problem.
