alright i need to go faster ive bought everything i can buy and ive even added extra batteries and its still not fast enough, i was wondering are the mini z motors bolt in? if not is there much modification that needs to be done to fit them? i just got some more cash so does anyone recommend any specific motors? im going mostly for speed and some turning capabilities not big on drifting.

Yes, Mini-Z motors are a bolt in. I have the X-Speed motor in my XMOD is quite fast now...

would my lhs carry this? how much did it cost? any saudering required?

CRX check this thread for info about the xspeed motor. Also any shop that carries mini z cars should carry the xspeed motor.

you did not run across the same problems with your x-speed motor that Hudson5150 did?

Keep in mind that the motor running in reverse is not a major problem. The motor is still much faster than a stage 2, even though it is essentially "detuned".
