This is what Kermit the Frog's ride would look like if he were a street racer.

These pics are not very good, not enough light in the house at night. I will take some pics of it outside tomorrow to show off how nice the paint really is.

Thanks! These pics don't do the paint justice, it has to be seen in the sunlight, which it will tomorrow. ;)

Glad you took my advice on the spoiler and I would paint the back and front cover black too. But best Xmod so far besides your skyline(I cant get over that thing).

Looks good. Did you just take the parts off the chassis and paint them the same way you paint the body?

Basically, I had left over parts from a AWD conversion. I just painted those and swapped them out.

Cool pics, but I thought you were gonna paint the mirrors black. I think it would fit better with the carbon fiber hood and the black wing.

that thing is absolutely stunning!! that, ladies and gents, is what a high quality piece of work looks like....

but, a few ?s.... where did the decal come from? and what color primer did you use? lol, thats kind of an odd question....

Murcielago659

I didn't say it didn't look good as is. I just think it would look better with black mirrors. As for the decals, he's already answered that a few times.

ok, and I was saying I think it'd be better like it is... as for him talking about the decals.... where did you see that? it wasn't in this thread, was it?

Bad Company
11-01-2003, 01:22 PM
I had the decals made for me at the local sign shop. A 12"x12" sheet ran me $10. I was able to get enough for 8 cars from that, including some hood decals. They are made of vinyl.

I painted the mounting part of the mirrors black, but I like the green better IMO.

wow thats awesome... looks like it fit perfectly... were they premade or did you have to tell them the exact dimensions and stuff?

Bad Company
11-01-2003, 01:30 PM
They had a book that had graphics they did for 1:1 cars, I just measured the space on the Xmod, and their computer made them proportional.

I cut them out of a Zip Zap box because I was scared to try to take the red off of the stock lenses for fear of them clouding up from the chemicals. Someone said you can use brake fluid?, but I haven't actuall tried it.

You can see how here...

Hey man good looking car. Personally i think theres only one more thing it needs. JDM headlights! Just another small touch of black to go with the ever popular car of yours. But either way man, its awesome, i cant wait to put more into my own.

sweet, since i cant see anyone driving it for fear of wreaking it, you should do someother show mods, like make the hood open, with model motor in there(at least as much motor as you can get in the space lol) It could also show of your green parts. You should be able to do it easily with a small hing, or maybe rubber bands like the bits. Personally i like it better with the green hood, but the cf still doesnt take anything away from it.
