what if you took a 9 volt, connected the positive to the motor and the negative to the esc...would the esc still blow? cus im thinking of that as a way to bypass the esc and just have the negative run out..but maybe it stops the power from the positive side...if it does then you woudn't be able to stop the motor with the controller...maybe im not sure... anybody think this would work?

IV GOT IT...it workz...using a 9v really works...now we take that one xmoders idea (sorry i dont know your name right now but il give u props on a later post) and add the video card fan to it with the heat sink so the engine dosnt heat up too quick, all u need is connecter kinda like the ones in a clock or hand held game, il post pics if i get my camera workin :)

do what you want with your X-Mods, but I knew a dude with a 9v, we drove it about 30 times...and that was all the little motor could handle, and about time 31, the car suddenly stopped and white smoke rose, the 9v blew the bejeezus out of the motor, im staying away from powere mods like that. im all for mini-z bodies and things but after seeing that im staying away from dangerous power mods.

come to think of it, he had the heat sink too, these little cars just cant handle that sort of power surging thru them.
