Here's a list of aftermarket parts that I think should be made:

Long throw servo horn
adjustable motor mount to allow for more gear ratios
solid metal rear "axlebones"- they are half plastic!
a mini z style turbo add on, for more powerfull motors
High quality low resistance AA battery holders
Heat sinks for the batteries, like the mini z
carbon or titanium shaft kit- all 3 lengths
better ball bearings
camber changing upper arms
a kit to use the 4wd set up in the back

and that's not even geting into chassis parts.

This is thinking very big but i would like to see a drag strip and courses for the xmods. I mean we could all make a custom one but it everyone had sort of a regulation drag for these cars, then times would be able to be compared easier.

I would def like if diff cars came out......an evo, an sti, more new cars........a 67 impala, a stingray, more old cars.

Another thing is more body kits so everyones cars are different. I mean i know u can paint your cars but if it is the same style as even one persons car, it makes it less fun.

Also replacement parts.

lower a-arms. I can't think of a cooler way to get more suspension movement. Cut off the tabs on the chassis, and there you go.
That's how you would do the lift kit too. Longer a-arms and a simplified sliding shaft like on the 1/10 scale traxxas trucks.
Ball joints on the top and bottom.... Hmmm I need to start drawing something up.

yes i would buy like 2 more cars if there was a rally kit and the rally bodies. Since I'm a wrx owner i really want that body badly. A peugot 206 body would be very cool as well....hell any of the wrc car bodies would work except i'd be in debt from buying them all.
New mirrors as well, one is off and the other hangs by a molecule.

I would definitely buy any tinyrc parts you come up with as well as your chassis kit slugbugg

Best thing in my mind would be a chassis that is designed around keeping cruft out of the gears. i guess that means having enclosed front and rear boxes around the transfer gears. i understand that a tie rod won't be able to work enclosed, but at least the amount going in would be reduced greatly.

How about a titainium or aluminum screw kit? I think there are like 5,000 screws on these things! I bet it it would drop a few grams off of the weight of the car. Just an idea..............

Top on my list would just be replacement chassis parts, like steering knuckes. I don't want to have to buy a whole new starter kit when one small part breaks.

sumkinda digital nitrous. like small batteries that are incased in a nos bottle with a braided wire to the motor for a realistic look and feel. maybe real anodiezed steel sway bars instead of ppl making them outa paper clips n stuff. o, and colored chasis kits, so u can get interior apperance. more body kits and more rims.

Cross Drilled brake rotors and calipers for looks:D
Aluminum screws because they are lighter than Ti.
Metal wheel bolts.
Parts containers and racks for easy, organized parts swap outs.
And maybe a kit that containes everything you need to wind and build your own custom motor.
Aluminum ring gears
Carbon wings to match the hoods
Carbon mirrors
PEACE

all the little servo/gear plastic made out of metal.
at least metal lining of the screwholes in plastic, because if you havent noticed, it doesnt take much at all to strip the PLASTIC threads
separate body mount tabs that go in the car, so you could buy your own car model and convert it to an XMOD easily

don forget a nitrous system, hydraulics, 6 speed manual transmission, underglow(standard), wireless motors just like bit char-gs, real disc brakes that actually work, spinning rims, a carbon fiber hood and chassis, sound system, smoke exaust, opening and closing doors; hood; trunk, aluminum gears, and belt drive.

TypeZer0
11-19-2003, 10:18 PM
haha, belt drive. that slack and the stretchability of the belt would act like a slingshot. gun the throttle and it'll probalby zoom off after a couple seconds of getting tension in the belt. not to mention they break easily

aluminum gears, and belt drive.

-a 6 speed trans? .... HOW?
-underglow lights pretty simple, buy a light kit (if you don't already have one... buy the LEDs from RS and attach them as you would if you were adding multiple lights... that's how I did mine
-real disc brakes that work? I'm not knocking it , it would be cool , but it would be overkill in my book, unless you had something like a non-abs lock up the wheels kinda brakes
-spinning rims? already made
- c/f hood? It's not a real c/f hood but I have one (the stock one) that's c/f
-c/f chasis? I'd love to see it
-sound system? a fake sound system? or a working sound system? a fake one would be kinda neat to see a set of 12s in the back deck :D
-doors? I don't see a point since the only thing inside the car is the actual parts of it
aluminum gears? YES!
-belt drive? no!
-some new mirrors? let's get some M3 style mirrors!
-more people in my state that want to have Xmod G2Gs !!!

I'm not trying to say any idea is a bad idea... I'm just stating my opinion. I hope no one takes offense to this.

You could make a small Nitro bottle with space for 1 watch-battery-type-thing that's re-chargable. You put a battery in the casing and there's a little wire with a T-plug at the end. You know that plug that connects the motor and the battery wires? The T-plug could go right there, and also there would be a wire running to the antenna. The battery, when a button (more on that later)on the controller is pressed, the battery starts and gives an rpm boost to the motor. It's like Nitrous, but without fire!:( Then there's a hard part. You'd have to rip apart the controller and drill a hole, maybe where your pinky would go. You could go to RS and maybe(maybe)maybe find a button that sends a signal through wires and through the antenna to start the batteries.
