Do the available LED light kits significantly decrease runtime (use up battery)? They seem cool, but if they decreased runtime significantly, I don't think I would really want or need them.

Not at all. 4 LEDs probably draw a few milliamps of current.

Well personally when I used the non RS batteries i found that it did lower MY runtime....but until i got the new batts today my runtime is spectacular! If you dont have the RS batts go get them and drive around with the lights on all day!

can you turn off the lights in the day, is there like a switch on it>?

no switch, if they are plugged in, they are on when the car is on. If you dont watn them on during the day, then dont plug them in :P

well. they just pl,ug into the chassis, but if you turn off the radio the lights will turn off. thats about it...

those things look too dim. i'm rigging up two 2200mcd white led's to 3 batteries from bitcharg's with a switch. i mgiht splice in yellow led's for foglights. i'll try to get pics up for them as soon as i finish

i say got for the light kit... LED dont use up that much battery..

also i recommend RS Battery charger pack....
