Why not try this out. It's a video compressor from BINK VIDEO (http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm). They were talking about it on TechTV the other day... they took a 700MB file and compressed it to 76MB. You should end up with something around 12MBs at that point... depending on the options you pick.

Or try divx or XVid as they are free. Many good options for video compression these days. Even better, there are easy to use tools so that you don't have to know much about video to make the end product look good. I remember with horror the early days of divx where everyone started using it, but maybe 1 in 10 knew how. You've all seen those crappy 1CD movies on kazaa... :P

Anyway, I recommend doom9.net if you're interested in video encoding.
