I forgot to add that it's got ball bearings all the way around too. No, I haven't seen any body kits other than the RSX yet. I just got back from picking up the Supra and more upgrades, so I will post a pic of that body on it when I get it together.

Thanks, but I wouldn't say the coolest. It hasn't got anything more than what everyone else has.........yet. I haven't had a chance to open her up, I'm gonna go to the teniis courts sometime today and try it.

Here are my babies so far. My wife is making me hold off on the red Supra and the Civics so she has something to get me for Christmas.

i msee you got some trinity alloys in the backround. you gonna put those on?

Bad Company
10-18-2003, 02:39 PM
No, I didn't pick the crystal set up yet. You really don't need that unless you have 2 of the same cars racing. Each different color/style body has it's own channel. The first 6 cars are labeled 1-6, the crystal set is 7-12.

The wheels in the background are the XS Tuning wheels I installed on my RSX which can be seen in the regular Xmods forum.

Oh ok that's good, that makes more sense... for some odd reason i was under the impression that the starter kits were limited to a couple freqs, like the ZZ's, and RS was making a little xtra coin to get you to buy the crystals.

Hey Bad Company I was wondering if you could post a picture of a stock RSX without the bodykits and the other stuff.

the reason i bought the supra was because i sqaw it with the body kit on that street show off flyer and i loved it and now that you got back and front and side pics im bouncn of the walls. i prefer the wild one because the mild one is to round and curves in in the front

i also like how the supra is so low and aerodynamic unlike the skyline that is tall and more boxed out(still looks nice but.meh)

10-21-2003, 09:17 PM
Hey bad company, of all your XMODS, which one do you like the best? I think that I may get a skyline instead of a RSX.

Bad Company
10-21-2003, 09:35 PM
Here is the "Money Shot"....literally.

As far as which one I like the most.....It used to be the Skyline, but the more I look at the Supra with the "Mild" body kit, I'm beginning to like that one more.

Silent_NightR34
10-21-2003, 09:39 PM

Here is my Civic by it's self.

i am green with envy I want that white supra.....

From the looks of the 'under the hood' shots, it seems like you may be able to put larger wheel on the back, is that the case with the front? since the front wheels turn, i am worried about having to extend the front axle. Also, any one see an easy way to extend supsension travel? (i dont have one yet, so i cant tell just by pics) btw has anyone raised a supra? lol

viperkilla
10-22-2003, 03:59 PM
I like the RSX alot, but I am beginning to like the skyline alot more now. I would like the supra the best if it had the body kit out now, but I am probably going to get the Skyline.

Profoxcg
10-23-2003, 12:09 PM
can you lower these cars? the civic could use a little drop

Murcielago659
10-23-2003, 01:51 PM
I imagine you could clip the springs a little to lower it. I'm not gonna do that to mine however...

The problem with just clipping the springs is that the rear suspension isn't straight up and down, and when the springs compress, the wheel actually tilt in. If you clip the springs, you will get the same effect and your rear wheels might look a little akward.

10-23-2003, 07:13 PM
lol i was thinkin about this mod the other day. if u could take out the springs and replace them with some device that would expand and then contract while staying in the suspension slot, it would be like mini hydrolics. of course this would be a show mod and u wouldnt be able to race it anymore. im not even sure if the device would even be effective, but if it was then it would be a pretty sweet mod.

Heres a pic of cut springs on my supra. Handling was a bit stiffer, but I had hardly any travel in the suspension at all. BTW, this was with 2 or 3 coils cut out of the stock springs:

Looks good, but I prefer the aftermarket springs over cutting :)

Bad Company..

Nice car man!!

how did you paint it, i too have a skyline and i want to paint it but im worried about the logos and turn signals, how did you block those? did you use masking tape? also what kind of paint works well on these things and what did you guys do to prepar the body for paint? any primer? sanding?

thanks
E.

Bad Company
10-27-2003, 06:14 PM
Thanks! I use Tamiya spray cans. You can read more info on paints here...
http://www.tinyrc.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13987
As for the headlights and taillights, I removed them completely by removing the cement used to hold the pegs to them on the inside of the body, and pushing them out from the inside. I just painted over the logos though. The windows were masked.

10-27-2003, 06:36 PM
what about the on the body kit, like the grill and two orange squares on the front, the turn signals on the side, the lisence plate frame, the third tail light and the red and silver square on the back?

I hand painted those details. The body kit was attached when I painted the whole body.

I am a mechanical planner. I basically plan out jobs on big mechanical equipment like air handler, fans, pumps, cooling towers, etc. at a local Semiconductor plant. I get to sit behind a computer all day, so I usually have time to think about what mods, etc. I can do.
