I've had my se for 2 days now, and the steering allready broke!! I have no idea what happened, but now nothing happens when i turn left. I can turn to the right normally but it re centers slowly. I opened up the "servo" and everything appeared to be normal. Do you guys have any ideas before I return it to ratshack?

Ignore airline, he is the most worthless poster ever!
Maybe a gear is stripped somewhere in the steering setup?
Can you manually move everything easily?

I've had this happen once. Come to find out, a piece of grit or dirt had gotten into one of the teeth of the flat gear and wouldn't allow the steering motor gear to go past. Make sure your gears are clean.

Also, check the gear mesh...
Just a thought, even though I probably am wrong.
Or mabe bad contacts on the steering motor?

thanks so much everyone (especialy airline2 ;) ) I was able to fix the steering- Beleive it or not, it was the gear mesh. When I played with it last, i heard a snap in the steering. So when i was trying to fix it I snapped it back the other way, and its fine now.

Does the steering in anyone else's SE "jitter" when it returns to center?
