I got a steal on a rs4 yesterday 165 for a rtr kit with 2 bods and a futaba controler. This is my first real rc car and I will have to keep it stock probably since I have alot to learn about with a RC like that. My question relates to how a stock rs4 is powered... The one I am getting isnt the actual RTR they sell, so it looks like it is powered by 4 aa cells. Is that the way the car kit is stock? I thought the rtr would maybe have the aa stock but I am seeing alot with battery packs and I was wondering if they came that way...it seems like they do. More posts are a must here!

well, they can be powered by 4AAs, you'll get 6V, or 5 rechargeables, or 6 cells, i've seen some cars with 7cells too, but it looked really messy.

So I'm guessing that you consider mini-z's a toy ?

Nup, i disagree.... Ive been playing with r/c for 10 years......boats/cars/planes of various scales....
Mini Z is DEFINALELY hobby quality........why wouldn't it be??
Because the ESC/RX/SERVO driver are all on one board.........if thats what you are saying than you are also saying that the mini T is a toy too.

Getting a bit more complicated.....
regardless of the scale it's still A TOY, even if its a 1:1....
