Hi there, just got a Bit CharG, so after testing it out a bit I found out something strange about my car.
It steers on a DIME when I ask it to turn right, but at turning left the radius is pretty wide.
Could it be I put the rear wheels in wrongly? Is there a right way to put the ways? What other reason could it be for something like this to happen?
No staple problem, I found this out 5 minutes after I raced it through office carpet. ;)

yeah, a lot of them come that way. the steering in bit char-g is magnetic, so sometimes one side is more charged then the other, or one of the front wheels has something stuck in it like hair or dust. Just take an exacto knife and try to roll the wheel and cut out the hair. It may help. if that doesn't work then take it to a shop that sells them, hte guy at the shop should be able to open up the front and figure out whats wrong. oh! one more thing, sometimes wires touch on the inside and it makes the steering funny. so try those and see what happens:D

i think thats a problem with torque steering. and i don't think you can do too much about that with bit char-g since there's no way you can install a rear differential

might also try recentering the magnet....or replacing the magnet if you suspect one side has a greater pull....
i know drac seems to have some sources for magnets,
otherwise, you can try the ones at radio shack,
they have the tiny neodymiums of about the same size
for 1.50 for two pieces...
they may be a little strong for the application though...
...
either way, careful of that spring when you take apart
the front end, i totally messed up mine,
and ended up breaking the spring trying to bend it back into shape...
took me 7 tries to find a piece of wire that would work....
most of the wires i tried were too stiff...
and now...sigh...after making a spring that works,
i think my magnets aren't centered!
too lazy to open it up again and reglue the magnets :p
