That and the Iveco 7.5T were always my favorite of all the TTTT trucks I have seen. I am not interested in buying it, but what would be a fair offer? $250? $300?
I never really noticed how tiny it really was!

hehe..yeah its smaller than the unimog :)
yes somewhere around that price range would be great, its a cracking little truck and very reliable.

$250? thats kind of excessive in my opinion, but hey, i dont even have one, so i dont know.

You obviously haven't looked into TTTT very much. To build a truck with everything purchased new will cost you around $250 or more. The electronics are what is so expensive. Even a quality built 4x4 chassis will cost upwards of $200 (This is why it is best to build your own). I think $250 is an ABSOLUTE EXCELENT DEAL for fastboy's truck! His work is awesome!

Fastboy-- would you be willing to sell just the electronics?
fastboy

sorry, that would mean a total dissasemble of the truck and it just isnt worth it,but thanks for asking anyways.

:ö: race2c,
the electronics used on TTTT are the same electroinic used on indoor r/c airplane (smaller scale)... like the GWS R-4P reciever (4 channel FM reciever) and as for the electronic speed controller, you can use a servo electronic board by a simple mod of the board, or you can use rc plane esc but no reverse :(, ask Arch2b, he knows where to get a good deal on these electronics ;).
squeegee is right, if you can build your own truck, the better :).. the reason why this thing is priced like that is because of the intense labor and patience a very small r/c truck demands, like if you drop a small part of the truck, like a gear or something on the floor, this incident only can actually ruin your day and makes you feel like smashing this darn truck on the wall and asking yourself.. "why the f@¢K am i wasting my time on this tiny li'l $&!+!?"... then you see the pictures and videos posted here or at those TTTT german website.. :D

if you don't mind me asking....why are you selling you tttt?
it's a remarkable truck! i love the shortened man 5t too.
i would like to move this thread to the tttt section as it has more to do with selling your tttt than showing it off here in the gallery

well i need the cash hehe...i race 1/10th offroad at national level and im pretty strapped for cash at the moment, when i get my accident payout i will build another one :)
if you wanna move it to another section please do so.

fastboy,
you might consider posting a fs in the misc section on mzr as well...you could ask thorsten if there is a message boards over there you could post an ad to as well.
the difficulty is we(tttt fans) are involved in a very particular niche of the rc spectrum that has a price range that prohibits wide spread knowledge and demand for these amazing trucks. in otherwords, there is a small market for tttt's. i wish you the best of luck though and hope to see you back into the tttt building when you can.
good luck with your 1:10 racing.
ohhh, you might get more interest/hits by posting in the misc. section of tinyrc where member to member sales generally go....ask the mod there if you can a redirect or link to there so you don't have to double post or keep track of more than just this thread...just some ideas to get more attention!

i was just saying $250 was kinda expensive for something so small and because i spent $220 on my Emaxx which i could have alot more fun with.

:ö: Ovgron, yes you are correct, driving an E-Maxx on a dirt lot is fun, but you can't drive it on top of your workbecnh without ruinning the area :p ... or amaze people that this itty bitty truck has proprotional control just like those 1/10 or bigger scale r/c ;)... but it's a matter of choice... you should see how much is the price of Elvis tooth on e-b@y ;)

Ovgron,
People don't choose to build a TTTT for simply haveing more "fun" than running an Emaxx. I think most people build them to amaze other people, or prove to themselves that they can build something so small. You are entitled to your own opinion, but I think driving a scratch built truck around on your computer desk that has taken many ours to completely custom build yourself is a WHOLE LOT MORE FUN than driving a RTR Emaxx in my backyard. Don't get me wrong.......I'm sure Emaxxs are a blast, but where's the pride in knowing that it is completley custom built by yourself?

i have built my own bit from 2 broken bits, made my own chassis, created my own steering, motor mounting, etc. I use a bit tires, wheels, axles, pcb board, and clone body (accord wagon). This was faster than a bit with the same stuff. The car wasnt that fun though because all i could use it for was drag racing basically, it would flip over when it turned, i was using dual cells which i tried to get as low as possible to lower the center of gravity as much as i could. I agree with the opinions thing squeegee, but i dont think $200+ (whatever it costs) would be worth something so small to show off.

This thread pry isn't the best to be talking about this in, but a TTT isn't a bit dragster.........Not even close. A TTT is ment for a 1/87 scale trial or crawl. 200 dollars might seem kind of harsh, but with what else can you do a little rock crawling on "top of your table?" We are not looking at speed here........just to see how much we can push a TTT before it gets stuck or flips over.
I don't think you understand the true value and meaning of TTTT.
I could be saving up for an Emaxx, but where is the model engineering involved?

no use in argueing. ya cant seem to see it from other people point of view.

i think we have an understanding....i think others views of these tttt's are askewed. most members buy their rc's from shops...zz's, bits, micros, epochs etc are all mass produced toys made by underpaid people in foreign contries and are sold for cheap becasue they are cheap to make.
tttt's are hand made rc's. the parts alone are expensive. these are not ment to be confused or even compared to bits, zz's etc. in price or features. they are simply rc's made out of shear determination and will with no regard for resale... now if a big company decided to get into the tttt market, i'm sure they could reduce the cost significantly as they can have custom elelctronics made and all the parts molded...but the chances of this happening are slim. it would be cool though.

$250? thats kind of excessive in my opinion, but hey, i dont even have one, so i dont know.
I was just trying to get you to understand why a TTT not only is worth the money IMO but also why it costs so much. We are entitled to our own opinons.....and that is fine.
You should really read the posts before posting something like this:
no use in argueing. ya cant seem to see it from other people point of view.
I beleive this is my defense to the accusing:
Don't get me wrong.......I'm sure Emaxxs are a blast
I am sorry for causing any confusion........but I was just defending the hobby of TTTT against other R/C toys like the Emaxx:)
Now we have ruined fastboy's chances of selling his TTT in this thread:( Sorry fastboy.

:ö: i know and understand what you are trying to say Ovgron, they'd rather buy a bigger, better r/c truck than spending the same amount of money for a very small truck, i recieve the same answer everytime they asked me how much would i want to sell my truck... as i have said it's a matter of choice and what you want is what matters, as for those 1/10 rc trucks, they are factory made, where they can produce one kit in a minute, no sweat!, but if these 1/87 trucks can be made from factory, expect the price to be lower, thogh just a bit, now, notice why those big r/c manufacturers are not jumping into this amazing scale? it's not that it does not have a big market, but because this things requires more attention than the big ones.

dont get me wrong guys, if i had the extra money for a tttt, i would make one in a heartbeat or buy one becuase i dont have the stuff to make one. I would buy just a tttt chassis and body then put some bit parts in it until i got the electronics, but it seems if i do that, i would be hated for temporarily putting them in.

not at all. there is a whole thread about using bit electronics in a tttt chassis. it's just a "true" tttt as it won't be proportional...that's all.

proportional is all a tttt is about?

no, but it is one of the things that sets it apart from all the other micro rcs with either all or nothing steering

:ö:well, sort of ;), because the last "T" on TTTT stands for "Trial", it's very much like "Rock Crawling" wherein you have to manuever your vehicle in an obstacle coarse or rough terrain without flipping over or rolling down, to achieve this on a 1/87 scale, you need full porpotional control not just on the throttle but steering as well, and speed is just an option ;), but if you are into racing bit electronics would do just fine :), because there are some who were able to put bit electronics on a 1/87 scale truck but 'till now i haven't seen somebody posted pics of their finished project :(, oh! there was one, but the pic was not that clear, i was waiting for him to post a clear one, but i think he forgot :p.

Here is my point of view:
Someone, who wants to have a TableTopTruck searches for the easiest and cheapest way. So he builds a truck made with the parts of a bit racer. If he doesn’t want more than race across his table this will be enough.
But if he had anytime steered a truck with proportional controls, he will have such a truck too. A truck made of bit racer parts cannot reach the effort of a real TTT: p.e. crawl across a bridge slow, very very slow, because the bridge is damaged an bounces frowningly etc….
Such a truck costs 150-200 Euro (in USA you spell it “Dollar”, I think ;) ).
Regards
Harry
PS: Last year I bougt a bit racer…one week later I sold it. It wasn’t a really competition for my Trucks

the parts i use come from germany,if you look on the board you will find the address for them.

Does anybody know of anyone selling a MAN 5T truck...while fastboy's truck is extremely cool.. I prefer the MAN..
I started building one but couldn't get my Tx to work the electronics and I git frustrated... I have a 40 Hitec Tx, one of those super micro 4ch Rx, a speed control that I made from a servo, a chassis and from suspension from www.tttt-parts.org, a LEMO-Solar motor... I wish I could have someone finish my project but if someone has one for sale..that would be cool too...I don't have the time to finish the one I started
I tried to get soomeone to sell me a 40mhz module for my M8 but I never got an answer
