Are these any good for TTTT? They sure are expensive enough.

Hi Namuna,
this is the smales Servo I know. If you want to build a "normal size" TTTT-model so it is better to take a large 5 gramm servo.

In a van or small car the small wes-servo is good.

I use it in my "Lanz Bulldog" tractor and can commend it.

Best regards

That Tractor is impressive.

After some more searching I see that WES actually has a 2.1g LS-2.1 Servo, wow that is small.

My initially intent is to convert a Bit Char-G or ZipZap into a Proportional vehicle.

I'm figuring baby steps, before getting to TTTT. :)

actually namuna, the MAN 5T truck that the TTTT guys tell us newbies to start with is actually bigger than a standard bit or ZZ.

Length is about 3.5"
Width is near 1.25"
Height is 1.625" (1 5/8")

I was quite scared to move to TTTT from Bits and 1/8th scale Monster nitro trucks.

But after getting it and the servos from www.allerc.com that i posted i feel quite confident, just need gears and miscellaneous brass or other metal tubing.

Hi Namua,
to start with a small rc-toy, I think the MAN 5ton (ROCO OrderNo 470) ist the best choice.
A bit car is realy small and so it would be better to start with a larger truck for learning how to rebuild it.

best regards
