when you make a putty body kit do you make it on the car or do you make it seperate then stick it on with super glue.

It depends on the part...if you want to make something really flush with the body, like a fender, then you might want to make it on the body and then sand it smooth so it has no seam. If you want to add something like a rear wing, then you could make it separate and then glue it on.
id make it on the body too...
make sure u use FINE GRAIN sand paper if u plan to sand by hand...Testors makes those, you should find it at a LHS
also from what ive experienced, do not put putty on painted parts...it will eat the paint, and wont stick to your body...
so sand down as much of the area u are puttying, dont worry about the paint thats IN the body lines though, no biggie
best to use a clear body though
