Another pic. This car is on my cutom mini-x chassis that has the wheel base extended to 116 mm. The tires are from the model and have absolutely no traction so they are only for show.

THAT IS A VERY NICE CAR, IS THIS A PLASTIC MODEL, TO BAD YOU SAY DONT HAVE TRACTION, IS BECAUSE THE MATERIAL OF THE TIRES OR BECAUSE IS TOO LONG. COULD YOU TELL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION ABOUT ANY GOOD LAP TRACK FOR THIS CARS? THANK YOU.

It is a plastic model. The kit came from Revell. It's called a Pro-Finish kit. I think the ones they make now have metal bodies but when they first started making them the body was made from plastic. You can still occassionally find the original plastic body kits on ebay.

The tires have no traction because they are made from plastic. I am currently looking at some foam tires that may possibly fit on the model wheels.

I race my car on a track I have set up in my shop and also on a track set up in a friend's basement.

I am looking for a tire that is the correct size for the NASCAR car. Currently when I race I run mini-z F1 tires. They grip well but are too short to look correct. In the future I plan to try dtm x4 foam tires with two tires stacked on each model wheel. I think that will give me both the correct width and height but I haven't actually tried them yet to know how they will work.

My track is a 12'X20' oval on a concrete floor. I use pvc pipe to form the inside and outside walls. The track is really too small to get top speed out of my car so I may make it longer.

I have no way to measure its speed but it's very fast. Much faster than my friends dtm x4 with a 180 motor and running on 6 cells. Also faster than stock and mildly modified micro rs4s.
