View Full Version : clear evoVII body just doesnt exist?

sigh i have yet to find or see one...i need a new one..cuz mine is getting worn

i was just gonna strip the paint and then paint it again, then add a clear coat for protection..

but another body would help too....
anyone knows the answer...tell me the truth...ill take it like man :D

lemme guess....Microsizers dont have clear evo bodys either..

i went to the hobby store...and they didnt have any ;/ ..bought me an rx7 body :p
im also thinking that the evoVII is the least popular bit out there WHY!!!! LanEvos rule!! :D...the evo rally body kit seems quite the fad...
i bet if tomy made an EvoV or a Mines Evo....those bodys would be popular also ;/...might as well make my own..

I saw a clear evo body today at my lhs. It was the microsizers tune up kit or something. It its that one kit that comes with better things and no controller. I'm 100% sure it was an evo, I'm a huge evo fan

The microsizer speed set section of their website is very deceiving.

It shows a clear skyline but it says clear Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution

they really dont know what they are selling yet ;/ ...they just want the Microsizers to be the next big thing to get rich quick..heh dunno really

they called the drift axle the "spur" gear...and probably dont know that it just makes you do donuts

I'm sure there are more than a few people at Hobbico that know what's going on in the MicroSizers line. However, I must say that the people doing the website are not completely on the ball. At least it's not a winblows server.

Yeah, like AudiTF said, the only way to get a clear lancer body is to buy the microsizers speed set. The thing that sucks is that the speed set at my LHS "Hobbytown USA" is $29.99. What a rip! I can go to Toys R Us and buy the whole thing (body, chasis, controller) for the same price. Too bad my Toys R Us is out of red Lancers though.

Anybody want to sell me a Red Lancer body?

the toysRus in my area didnt even have the upgrade parts..... i was hoping they would have some HUGE display and i would go crazy grabbing every body in sight :D...but nope...only 2 small stacks of Microsizers ;/

I wonder if the microsizer speed set includes a pcb that is like the booster set. Not boosted though, just constantly sends more juice to the motor. Anybody test this yet?

Doubt it will come with booster becasue Microsizers simply has not released the booster controller yet. Maybe it may have booster as a suprise when Msizers release the booster controller :D.

I am not saying it would have a booster function. Just be as efficient at sending juice to the motor as the booster car. For $27 I can buy a booster set on-line. Why would I spend that for a non boosted chasis?

Wow, I didn't know the Lancer was such a popular MicroSizer... I had problems with my blue WRX, so I took it back and got a Red Lancer... I don't particularly care for red cars [I prefer the blue, like in the RX-7 body kit] but it's an OK body. I will keep it though :c) bwahahahahah!

I could be wrong but i swear i saw a Lancer at KayBee toys that came with an extra clear body. I was mad because i had just bought the same car set the day before (at a hobby shop for the same price) and it only had the yellow body. Has anybody else seen these or was i mistaken?
