You can get it in New York. You probably have to go to a hobby store owned by Japanese or Asians. And ya, they will be more expensive then usual.

yes you can buy them in NYC. There's a couple places I've found so far...
In Chinatown, they also sell MIcro-sizers, Tomy's American import version. You have to goto Penguin Village. It's an underground mall sort of. They sell all kinds of stuff. Also ZAKA, a Japanese bookstore on Grand Street.
Both places are expensive with limited selection. I really suggest buying online. I guess you could get microsizers at Toys'r'us as well, no?
anyway,
good luck

They property cost about 29.99 if not more with tax about 32 32
dollars. You could have brought about two of them at this price
these cars are becoming hard to find locally.:o

This store usually has them in stock (microsizers version). The clones are easy to find in Chinatown and on 34th street. There is also a store in the Village that sells Japanese imported toys (ie Gundam, Sailormoon, etc). Not sure of the name but it's on 2nd avenue and maybe 6th or 7th street.

Are the clone any good the one's I am getting are pretty fast!
try chinatown, on elizabeth street (just south of the canal st/elizabeth st intersection) on the right you will see the elizabeth st center, it's a underground mall with tons of import toys inc. char-g. also above ground next to the mall is mugen toys (i think that's the name) that has a good collection of char-g. across the street are pricer char-g but harder to find ones, like the loctite spec. ed. etc.
