Does anyone have a dual battery mod where both batteries fit inside the Bit? I don't want the mod where the second battery sticks out the back where it's visable. I would like a mod where both batteries fir inside the car where it can't be seen. It would be great if anyone could help.
Thanks.

you can upgrade your battery to NiMH but i don't think there's a way to fit 2 of those NiCD under the chassis. no room

Get a scooby (imprezza wrx) and do your mod as normal with the spare battery sat on the heat sink. then turn the body into a imprezza wagon this should hide your xtra batt easily

i done it, both battery fits inside but, i can't put the board back in so its stays up alittle. not like the other way people done it with the battery sticking out of the body. this way also lower the center of gravity so you can corner better with out flipping over.

the 3 cell mod is easier to do than the 2 cell mod. to charge the 3 cell i just hook it up to my epoch indoor racer chrager since it charges 3 cells just perfect for it.
hey tinyrc i just placed 2 orders 1 for a bunch of mini z stuff around $78 and another for a bunch of bit charge and epoch indoor racers around $150, when do you think you'll get the wrx in. also do you think i can get some kinda discount please.

Okay I decided to put my money where my mouth is and convert a scooby from a sedan to awagon to fit the xtra batt inside.
An I can tell you it works well. The xtra section at the back has been build out of plasticard and then filed to shape, to cut it into the existing roofline. Using this mod allows you to sit the battery on the heat sink and still be inside the body. After investigation And a bit of cutting I think it is also possible to fit a third battery indie the car, as long as I turn the circuit board upside down.
I'll post piccys of my dual bit scooby after I have finished the body (need to make a new rear air spoiler and paint her) and borrowed a decent camera.
