I love em i wish japan would unleash a crx body for our cars man i would be all over it.;) lata
i dont think they will ever make one
the car itself isnt that popular, it doesnt have much horsepower, and i personally dont like any hondas cept the jp version of the NSX and s2000

you guys are crazy crx's represent heavily in the import drag scene you can do alot to those bad boys. Their small light and you can mix and match honda motors and other parts in em. well i had to just put my two cents peace.

my bro runs 13-14s at the track...
its all stock but the enigine and exhaust....
he has a b17* motor in it...
* 92-93 integra gsr motor

yea i know but that guy asked about crxs and someone responded that they probalby wont have tehm because they arent fast and so i said that neither are AE86s

the ae86 IS popular because it is/was a cheap rear wheel drive vehicle and also lightweight...the handling was superb for a street car
the crx....well.....front wheel drive....

are there any rear wheel bits?
the bits ARE all wheel rear drive
even if the car they are supposed to portray have all wheel drive, or middle rear, etc
thats was kinda what i expected in the beginning that there would be different drive trains to match each individual bit car
just imagine all wheel drive with 2 motors :D

oh?! ... i thought they were all front.. that's dope... but why do i see forums saying they go faster in reverse? .... tho, that would be cool do see a WRX goin 4x4!
umm...since the rear wheels spin and are used to drive the car forward on the bit..that means they are REAR WHEEL DRIVE with a rear engine [kinda like a porshe or something]
im not sure whats up with going faster in reverse...i dont reverse much [unless i get stuck on/in something]...

Acura never made an engine, it's just an American-market name-brand for Honda cars. ;)
Anyone figure out an AWD mod for the Bit Char-G yet? :D

I know that Acura and Honda are the same, and that there is no Acura in Japan. Same thing goes to Lexus and Toyota, Infinite and Nissan... etc;)

Correct. Its the B17A - It's an 160 horsepower engine (similar to the B16, just puts out more torque. not much though)
Your bro can run 13's w/ one of those in a CRX, w/ just an intake and exhaust? Wow. I have my doubts, but am not calling you out on that. Would just love to see a timeslip though.

anyways back on the topic of CRX are you talking about a "del sol"? or the hatch version, it would be fairly easy to convert an accord shell into a hatch, and maybe an s2000 body into the "del sol"...

i was thinking exactly the same thing... however, stranger things have happened... maybe that crx is all stripped of its interior and running nothing but a roll bar? but i doubt it ;)

The B17 was only available in the US for the 92-93 Integra GSR. It was never used in Japan, and it uses components similar to the B16. The B18 is available in both Japan and the US.
As for a CRX with a stock B17a running 13's, highly doubtful. Unless he was running on an 1/8th mile track.

1/8th mile he should be hitting 10's w/ a b17a. (which in turn, 13's are quite possible too :D )
Anyways - I think the same thing. 13's, 160 HP powerplant? I doubt it. But thats just me.

well i just got my wing off my skyline and if you wanted to do a little body work you could make it look like a crx, it looks almost kinda like a little bit of a crx...my 2 cents right there

hey all,
im the new guy at the forums, been trolling the last couple days just getting a feel for the place, but when i saw this i had to post. I used to have a 89 rex, after i dropped a b18c in it and put the integra lsd full custom exaust and headers, i was only pulling a 13.6 in the 1/4. there is no way 160bhp would back that time. I have to see a time slip to even fathom the idea.
